As Coach Boyd told Spin Club students last week, this coming up Tuesday is the interest meet for all students and parents who are interested in auditioning for Winter Guard. This is the competition color guard of both Newnan High School and Smokey Road Middle School. In their first year, the group was voted on as the most improved guard in the Southern Association for Performing Arts and has an impressive 4th place overall finish. At the meeting we will discuss the rehearsal schedule, cost involved, costume, and contest schedule. Championships this year will be held at the UTC arena in Chattanooga, TN!
