Week at a Glance

This is another busy week within the Smokey Road Middle School Band Program.

Tuesday:
3:30-5:00     Percussion Ensemble Audition #1: Remember that to audition your parent must watch the video on the percussion page of the band website and send in the signed form.  Only 7-8th graders are allowed to audition for the competition percussion ensemble.

Wednesday:
3:30-5:00     Wind Ensemble Rehearsal.  Skype Session with Jim Grant, one of the composers of At Peace.  The students will get to meet and ask the composer questions.

Thursday:
3:30-5:00     Wind Ensemble Rehearsal with Dr. Josh Byrd, Director of Bands at the University of West Georgia

Friday:
3:30-4:30     Concert Band Rehearsal (final rehearsal before concert).
