TC Challenge

The Taylor County High School and Middle School Band is under the direction of Mr. Eric Vogel. Mr.Vogel did his student teaching at Smokey Road a few years ago where he learned about our awesome Power in the Progress System.  His band is now doing Power in the Progress as well.

When I was working at his band camp, he was talking "smack" about how his students at Taylor County are the best and most musical students ever.  I told him, that he had it wrong.  The band students at Smokey Road Middle School are the best students in the entire world!

After getting calls from Mr. Vogel for several days in which he continued to brag on his band students, I decided that he had forgotten who the real "Jedi" is (star wars reference).  We need to prove to Mr. Vogel once and for all who the Progress master is!  Here is the challenge that Smokey Road Middle School sent to the Taylor County Middle and High School Band on Friday morning!




Mr. Vogel immediately sent me a text message that his band was not only up for the challenge, but would completely and totally defeat Smokey Road!  He is getting a little cocky!  In an attempt to intimidate Smokey Road Middle School Bands, he sent us this video Friday night while his band was at a High School football game!


Mr. Vogel has no idea what he has started!  We are going to show him and the Taylor County Band program what a "Power Day" is all about!  We spoke on the phone and he beat us on the first Friday by about 37 points, but he has no idea what he has unleashed!  Be ready next week,  we are going to "Unleash the Wildcat!"  Practice, Prepare, and lets do Battle!
