Orlando Trip schedule.

Here is a schedule for Orlando that is being sent home with students tomorrow along with a new luggage tag!  I am apologize that some of the formatting will not copy and paste correctly.

Sunday – April 6

            11:00 PM        Students can arrive at Smokey Road to load their suitcase and instrument

                                    and place their things in their bus seat. 

            11:45 PM        Final meeting Meet in the band room

            11:59 PM        Depart Smokey Road Middle School                        

                                    965 Smokey Road                                                       Newnan, GA

                                                Stop en-route for breakfast at your own expense

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO LAWS REGARDING AMOUNT OF DRIVE TIME THAT DRIVERS CAN BE ON THE ROAD, WE WILL LEAVE ON TIME.  IF YOU ARE LATE, WE WILL HAVE TO LEAVE WITHOUT YOU.

Monday – April 7

                                   

            6:30 AM         Breakfast on your own at Worlds Largest McDonalds

                                    Any student requiring medication should see Mrs. Brown immediately

                                    After eating and before getting back on the bus.

8:00 AM         Arrive in Universal Studios bus parking

                        9:00-8:30PM  Universal Studios

$15.00 for meals is included, but student will need a little extra.

8:30-10:00       Free time to explore City Walk (shopping)

Tuesday – April 8

            5:45 AM         Wake-up call                          

6:30 -7:15        Breakfast buffet at hotel

                        Any student that requires medication will need to meet Mrs. Brown in the lobby

                        No later than 6:45am

                        Students need their instrument when loading the bus as well as anything that they

                        May need for the theme park. 

                        7:30                 Buses depart the hotel

                        8:15                 Arrive at Oak Ridge High School for OrlandoFest Workshop

                                                700 West Oak Ridge Road                                          Orlando, FL

                        8:30-10:00       OrlandoFest Workshop

10:30-7:00PM            Islands of Adventure

8:00-10:00       Free time for shopping and exploring the Premium Outlets on International Drive

                        (shopping)

Wednesday – April 9

            6:45 AM         Wake-up call

            7:30-8:15         Breakfast buffet at hotel

                                    Any student that requires medication will need to meet Mrs. Brown in the lobby

                                    No later than 7:45am.

            8:15-8:30         Hotel check-out and load buses

                                    We will not return.  Take everything.

                                    Students will give their room keys to their room chaperones.

            8:30                 Buses depart the hotel

                        9:00-3:00PM  Islands of Adventure

                                                Lunch in the park with a meal voucher ($15)

3:00 PM          Depart for home

Stop en-route for dinner at your own expense

                        11:30 PM        Approximate arrival at Smokey Road Middle School
