Percussion Ensemble Added Dates

These snow days are really starting to catch us!  I am adding these dates to the calendar.  Just send me an email if there is a conflict.  I apologize for having to add practices and dates.  I am excited that I am able to add a concert opportunity.

Friday:
3:30-5:00    (practice as normally scheduled)

Saturday:
9am-2:00pm  (practice as normally scheduled)

Monday (winter break):
12:00-2:00pm  Warm up and Concert Performance for the visiting China Delegation.  (parents are invited to watch)

Friday (winter break):
2pm-4:00pm  Rehearsal

Saturday:
JSU Day of Percussion:

Here is the proposed schedule for the JSU Day of Percussion on February 22^nd.  All times are in Eastern time on this schedule.

Saturday  Feb. 22

7:15am      Meet at SRMS

7:30am      Leave SRMS

9:30am     Arrive at JSU to move equipment to its designated location

10:00am    Day of Percussion Begins

(during this event, groups will simply take turns performing and enjoyed each others show.  There is no designated performance time). 

12:00pm  Approximately the time we will break for lunch.  We will take the 

               Cecills (a burger place). 

1:00        Approximately the time that the event will resume

6:00pm   Event will end.

8:00pm   We will arrive at SRMS to unload equipment.  All students must

               help

8:15       Parents pick up students in the bus zone

Students will wear black pants, black shoes, percussion T-shirt, and jacket for this event.

Students should bring at least $20.00 for two meals.  You may want to send more in the even that souvenirs and other cool percussion things are for sale.

We have a few spots for parents to ride the bus with the group and chaperone if you are interested.  There is no cost to participate.
