Rock a thon Thank You

This was the best Rock-a-thon in history! The chairs were remarkable and the students had so much fun.  We also raised a lot of money to help students with their trip and student band accounts.  I just want to take the opportunity to thank all the students who participated and especially the parents.  We had over 35 parents come to Rock-a-thon to help chaperone!  Our students were surrounded with people to help them "Rock on!"  Thanks a bunch.

I want to thank all of our bandaids who donated extra items, attended the training meeting, and were ready to help us out for the entire event.  We could not have done it without you.  This is what being a bandaid is all about, simply helping the band and being present for students.  If you are a parent who helped out and want to stay involved and updated with the latest information, please join our bandaids (parent organization).  They meet the first Thursday night of every month at 6:00pm.  All band parents are welcome!

I want to thank Stephanie Sibley who chaired the Rock-a-thon organizing group and did all the work behind the scenes.  Our even was a success because of her hard work in organizing and planning the event.  Thank you Stephanie for going above and beyond!

I am reminded again and again why I love my job.  I work with the greatest students, who have the greatest parents, at the greatest school in Georgia.  Thanks again for being great!
