The letter below was sent to me at 2:00pm to give to your students.  I will be giving it to them on Monday since most of them had already left band before I received the letter.  The corresponding meal order forms will also be sent home on Monday.


Dear Band Parents and Students,

Congratulations!  Your child has earned a chair in our 2013 Coweta County Honor Band.  Below is our schedule for our honor band on May 3rd and 4th.  Please be reminded that each student must be at all rehearsals and the performance.
Friday, May 3rd
8:00:  Report to school for homeroom.
9:30:  Report time to the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts (Each school’s departure time will be different.  Check with your director.)
10:00-11:45:  6th grade will rehearse and release for lunch (see attached meal offer)
10:00-12:00:  7th/8th grade will rehearse and release for lunch (see attached meal offer)
1:00-5:00:  Rehearsal.  Students will be given a break according to their clinician.
**All students must be picked up at the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts by 5:00.  There will be no transportation back to your respective school.

Saturday, May 4th
**Students will need to bring their school’s concert uniform to the CPVA.
8:30-9:00:  Report to the Centre for Performing and Visual Arts
9:00-11:30:  6th grade will rehearse and release for lunch (see attached meal offer)
9:00-11:45:  7th/8th grade will rehearse and release for lunch (see attached meal offer)
**All students must eat and change into their school’s uniform by 12:45.
6th graders:  Report to the stage by 12:45. 
7th/8th graders:  Be in their assigned section in the auditorium by 12:45.
1:00:  6th Grade Honor Band Concert
1:30:  7th/8th Grade Honor Band Concert
