grades and emails

I updated grades in infinite campus.  Parents are encouraged to see how their student is progressing.  Please note that a few 3rd period students did not get a chance to perform their pass off assignments last week.  We will be catching up with these students on Wed. during class.  All students will get at least one more opportunity to perform their pass offs before the end of the week.

Also, we have discovered that when we update the website, email reminders do not go out immediately.  In some cases, it does not send out the email for several days.  This is the reason that some of you have not been getting updates related to the schedule until many days later.  It appears that Google is not solving the problem.  To help parents out, we are sending out mass text messages each time we update the band webpage.  To join this text list, please text @smokeyroadband to 23559
