Winter Guard and Percussion Ensemble Contest Schedule

7:00am  Meet in the band room (everyone arrives in full uniform)

7:30am  Load Bus

9:34am  required arrival time at Mill Creek High School (guard check in                         time)

·      upon arrival, percussion will go and watch the show

o   Make sure to visit concession for lunch, etc.

10:23am  Guard Warm up in area B

10:37am  Guard transition to ready area

10:42am  Guard required to be in Ready zone

10:49am  GUARD PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  GO GUARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

11:00am  Guard loads equipment

·      change and visit concessions for lunch

2:00pm  Guard Awards Ceremony

·      Percussion go to truck to unload equipment

2:30pm  Guard enters to watch the show

·      Percussion enter into Warm up in area A

2:48pm Percussion transition to ready area

2:57pm  Percussion required to be in ready zone

3:06pm  PERCUSSION PERFORMANCE!!!!!!!!!  GO PERCUSSION!!!!!!!!!!

3:15pm  Percussion Load the truck

3:45pm  Percussion go back into gym to wait for awards

4:50pm  Percussion Awards Ceremony

5:15pm  Load buses to visit the mall of Georgia

5:45pm  Arrive at the mall of Georgia

·      All middle school students must be with a chaperone

·      Eat at the mall food court

7:00pm  Leave for Smokey Road Middle School

9:00pm  Arrive at Smokey Road

·      Pick students up in the bus zone

All Students need money to eat concessions for lunch and then dinner at the food court later in the evening.  Please also bring a jacket.  Students can check out after their respective awards ceremony with their parent with Mr. or Mrs. Boyd.

Guard-Uniform, flip flops, hair accessories, make-up accessories, clothes to change into for the mall

Percussion-arrive in black pants, black shoes, member shirt, have all mallets, sticks, bags, etc.
