UGA Schedule posted again with Driving Directions

FOR DRIVING DIRECTIONS CLICK HERE

 Eat breakfast before you arrive

7:00am  Meet in the band room at Smokey Road Middle School.

7:30am   Load buses and leave for UGA

12:00pm  Arrive in Athens, Ga.  Lunch at the Varsity.  Students will pay for their own meal.

1:30pm  Tour of the University of Georgia Campus

3:45pm   Arrive at the Performing Arts Center.

3:50pm   Band enters when called. Large instrument cases may be stored                                         backstage, small cases beneath seats.

4:05pm   Sound check in Hodgson Hall at UGA.

4:45pm   Sound check ends

5:00pm  Pizza Dinner and change clothes 

7:00pm   Return to Choral Suite for warm-up. Instrument cases should be left here.

7:50pm   Walk to Hodgson Hall through Stage Door.

8:00pm   Performance

8:22pm   Concert Ends. Students return to Choral Suite. Gather belongings.

8:45pm   Depart UGA, returning to Smokey Road with no stops

12:30am  Arrive at Smokey Road, students picked up in the bus zone.

Students need:

1. Instrument, music, and instrument supplies

2. Full concert uniform

3. Money for Lunch at the Varsity 

Cell phones will not be permitted off the bus once we change into full uniform.
