Coweta County
Go I-85 North to I-285 East
to I-75 South. Go I-75 South to exit 224 Eagles Landing Pkwy. Turn left at the
end of the exit. Go 3 miles and take a right onto hwy 42.Go 3 miles and take a
left on Campground Rd. Go 3 miles and take a left onto Hwy 155. Go 2 miles and
take a right onto East Lake Road. UGMS will be the second school on the right
after the football stadium.
Student
Information:
- Please encourage students to
arrive 45 minutes before their audition time. Students
with afternoon times should report to their audition room 45 minutes early
to see if the panel is running ahead of schedule. We will run 45 minutes ahead in the
afternoon as the auditioning students will thin out considerably.
Registration will close at 3pm. Remind students that there should
be no playing or loud talking in the hallways as this will disrupt those
auditioning. After auditioning,
students should put their instrument away.
- Percussionist will need to bring
all necessary sticks/mallets, pitch pipe if needed, and a snare drum
(already assembled before entering).
Timpani and xylophone will be provided. Bells for tuning will be
provided in the timpani room.
- Student results (whether they pass
to the 2nd round) will not be available until Monday during
school. Your director will tell you in school Monday after the Saturday
audition whether or not you pass to the second round.
