As we begin to coordinate our large events for the year, we have decided to call two brief parent meetings in order to make certain that parents are informed of the respective activities of our larger groups.
October 2, 2012 at 5:30pm
This is a meeting for the parents of Wind Ensemble students. The meeting will last approximately 30 minutes and will feature information about the upcoming University of Georgia trip. Anyone who plans on chaperoning for that trip must attend. We will do a mandatory training for those going to UGA. We will also discuss the November 8, concert change. We will be performing on November 8th in Fayette County. Other information will be given.
October 2, 6:15pm
We will have our annual indoor percussion parent meeting to discuss the requirements, cost, and travel information related to participating our two time SCA Championship percussion ensemble. We will let parents review the total budget, ask questions, as well as give the rehearsal schedule for the fall. This is a required meeting if your student plans on participating in the percussion ensemble. This meeting should last no longer than 1 hour.
