School year information

I am very excited to start off the new school year.  Just a few reminders to get you started:

1.  If you are in 6th grade it is okay to not have an instrument or anything else for band on your first few days.  We will go over all of this during the first week of school.

2.  7-8th grade students will not need instruments on their first day.  Wind Ensemble will start practicing on day 2!

3.  This year, we will be utilizing a "flipped classroom."  We will be utilizing a lot of technology in our classroom. Feel free to go ahead and register in edmodo now.  See the video above on the www.smokeyroadbands.com webpage.

4.  Get ready for a great year and bring a positive attitude.  If you have a positive and hard working attitude, it is going to be a great year!
